Active in the Community
Managing Director Kerstin Voigt is the Regional Chairperson of the Osteuropa-Freundschaftsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. (an association which promotes inter-cultural interaction between Germany and Eastern Europe), and she is also on the Board of Trustees of the Stiftung West-Östliche Begegnungen (Charity of Western and Eastern Encounters). The Osteuropa-Freundschaftsgesellschaft is part of the Bundesverband Deutscher West-Ost Gesellschaften. The Friendship Society has been actively supporting the initiative 'WIR. Erfolg braucht Vielfalt' (a campaign to encourage tolerance and diversity) for many years. Since February 2015 Kerstin Voigt has been Chairperson of the Friends of the FILMKUNSTFEST MV e.V. (Cinematic Art Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The FILMKUNSTFEST began its 25th anniversary in 2015, and in 2016 Belgium is the host country. The Circle of Friends is looking forward to meeting the Friends of the Nordische Filmtage Lübeck (Nordic Film Days) on the opening day, 3rd May 2016.
Managing Director Natalia Jentzsch is an Executive Board Member of FiM - Frauen im Management Schwerin e.V. (Women in Management), and is involved in the work of the Freunde des Staatlichen Museums Schwerin (Friends of the Schwerin State Museum). She is a member of the Arbeitskreis International (International Working Group) of the IHK in Schwerin.
Both Managing Directors are members of the Theaterfreunden Schwerin e.V. (Friends of the Schwerin Theatre).
WORLD TEXT is a member of the Unternehmerverband Norddeutschland Mecklenburg-Schwerin e.V. (Entrepreneurs' Association Northern Germany).
In 2016 WORLD TEXT belonged to the supporters of the WINDROS-Festival, which took place from 9th-11th September 2016 in Schwerin-Mueß. Friends of folk music from many countries got together; they came from Mongolia, Belarus, Estonia, Great Britain (Scotland), USA, Canada, Norway, Russia, Slovakia, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary and of course Germany. The Windros orchestra 'String Nations' (NOR/USA/CZ/BY/SK/MGL/D) was dedicated to stringed instruments in 2016. This orchestra will never come together again in this composition or with this sonority of bass, guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, etc.
